Section A - Communities of Faith; Key Concepts.
Here you will find several resources to help you revise or test your knowledge of the key concepts in this section.
This is a Voki file to introduce the basic concepts you need to learn in this section.
Part 1; Community
What does it mean to be part of a community? What are the things that make up your community?
A very simple, one slide presentation on Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. If used on a whiteboard students can suggest examples of each level.
This is a presentation (Prezi) I use to introduce my students to the roman Catholic Community - it may be quite dense for non-Catholics but the information is clear, concise and relevant! If you save a copy to your own Prezi account (which is free to join) you can edit any slide or include your own slant on it.
This handout helps students to see at a glance the various aspects of their chosen community under various key concept headings.
Having difficulty remembering everything that happened during the Reformation? This powerpoint will help to sort that out - and it might help with History as well!
Part 3; Communities of Faith
This powerpoint is a clear way of introducing the major concepts behind the major world religions.
The next powerpoint can be used in order to test what has been learned in the previous powerpoint! I have included the powerpoint as a handout which will facilitate the students working in groups to recall the required information. The clip used in the powerpoints is also included here in case it does not load properly within your presentation.
This is a handy one-page reference sheet on which students can record all the relevant information regarding the Major World Religions. It can also be used at home by students who wish to test their knowledge in this area.
